How My Connection With My Mother Led Me to Tell My Story

My name is Rebecca. I am the eldest daughter of the late Wendy Saltzburg and the adopted daughter/stepdaughter of Dr. Michael Saltzburg.


I am also the older half-sister of Dr. Lauren Saltzburg and Mark Saltzburg. Christopher Saltzburg is my older brother. 


I am a deeply spiritual person. My life choices have been greatly influenced by my mother, was an incredibly, loving, intelligent and intuitive person.

My mother with 3 of her grandchildren whose college funds were stolen by her cheating husband after her death.

My mother took the time to text Radhika and tell her how proud she was of her for placing in this competition, even as she lay dying in hospice care.

My son Jai made a sweet video card for his Nana Wendy, hoping that she would recover. He never saw her again.

Our Mother's Life Sacrifices & Trust Are Sacred

As a mother myself, it's difficult to comprehend the betrayal of our mother's trust and life of sacrifices, by wiping out her family legacy, both in terms of relationships and her estate. She created an entire supportive community, which was meant to last for generations to come. While people have free will to live their lives as they choose, I am deeply committed to calling out the deception and injustices that have occurred.

No More Silence

A lot of people, especially children, have been hurt by the actions described in this website. It is my hope that speaking up helps promote accountability and minimizes the chances of future victimization. It was truly a labor of love and determination to create a written summary of things that have occurred.

How I Found Out It Was All a Lie

When my mother first told me of this "family secret", I was surprised and kind of shocked. It never really rang true to me, but at that point I didn't have any real reason to give it much deep analysis. It wasn't until I accidentally discovered his shocking infidelity that I began to realize what an abusive, manipulative liar he was.  Later I learned that he had no clue how to even use a basic handgun. My older brother Chris had to teach him how to use a handgun for basic self defense purposes. Every CIA agent goes through basic military training for firearm competence. I realized that it was just another outrageous lie to cover up his double life and exploit our mother's innocence and trusting nature.

Read more about our tragic saga...My mother was a strong advocate for women and children. She would want the lies exposed so others can learn from her mistakes. It also is my hope that people can know the truth about Dr. Michael Saltzburg and Dr. Lauren Saltzburg so that, at least on some level, they are held accountable for their actions. Dark ethics deserve the light of truth.
